This Isn't the Alpha I Lost

Wen Qichi was born and raised in District Nine. He thought that if he studied hard and kept striving, his best bet would be to end up as an ordinary office worker in District Five, spending his life working for someone else.

Once he got established, he would find a decent Alpha to marry and live out an unremarkable life.

He never expected that before he could make his own way out of District Nine, a high-compatibility match notice would suddenly land in his lap.

The eldest son of the wealthy Chu family in District Three had a compatibility rating of 90% with Wen Qichi, and any child they had was sure to be extraordinary.

The Chu family needed a baby, and Wen Qichi needed a reason to leave District Nine.

So he happily accepted the engagement and went to live with the Chu family.

His fiance had a mercurial temperament. No matter, he was good-looking enough.

His fiance treated him coldly. No matter, all he needed was a child.

His fiance was flirting around behind his back. No matter, Wen Qichi didn't love him.

Despite the disapproving looks and the endless gossip, Wen Qichi successfully got engaged to the Chu family's eldest son. After the engagement, his fiance suffered a serious accident and went missing. When they finally found him, he had lost his memory.

Wen Qichi was overjoyed. Afraid that things might change if he waited, he catered to his fiance, whose personality had changed, and came up with several plans to win him over, hoping to get pregnant as soon as possible.

Before the wedding, they went for another compatibility test. To their surprise, their rating had risen to 100%.
