A Beauty Everyone Desires, Even the Invisible

[Not plot-focused, written to indulge personal kinks. Please read the warnings | 1v1 | My take on soft, sweet romance]

[Main story complete | You'll miss your chance if you wait, so leave a star!]

Ming Tian felt like someone was watching him.

On the subway, in elevators, anywhere that could reflect an image, a mysterious figure followed him. He couldn't make it out or touch it.

He thought he was imagining things, until a handprint appeared in the thin mist on the bathroom mirror.

The mirror was cold. Something invisible caught his falling tears.

The shadow's outline was taller and broader than he was, enough to envelop him completely. Ming Tian was like a delicate little figurine, carefully sheltered.

He looked haggard from lack of sleep, relying on it just to stay upright.

Invisible, untouchable.

He didn't know the conditions under which it existed, and couldn't find any trace of it.

He couldn't communicate with it or resist it.

He only had to turn on the hot water himself, and the mist would rise again, clinging to the mirror as it wrote his name over and over, stroke by stroke.

Please note:

1. 1v1, both leads are each other's only partners. A short story under 10,000 words, written to indulge personal kinks, with no plot or logic. High concentrations of niche kinks, melodrama, and coercive situations. Read with caution.

2. The original title was The Beautiful Darling Is Being Watched by an Invisible Man.

--Other story in the same series: The Beautiful Dodder Flower Coveted by a Bioroid--

In this era, machines are highly advanced and have replaced most human labor. Society's expectations for people's inner "virtue" have risen accordingly, so those in power developed a "Reputation Score" System.

Unfortunately, Ming Ruan deliberately caused an accident to help someone else raise their score. His points were all deducted, and he now faces prison.

To save his own life, he hooked the head of the Si family with a one-night stand, becoming a dodder flower in a wealthy and influential household.

The husband he had carefully chosen was rich, powerful, and had plenty of points, but was too busy with work to be home.

However, there was also a bioroid butler living in the house. He looked exactly like the husband and had the same attentive, "perfect" personality, generated from data.

So...

It was pitch-dark, and mistaking one "husband" for the other didn't seem all that strange.

Warnings:

1. There is only one love interest, and bioroid 417 is controlled by him.

Theme: He wants it, he gets it.
