Mayfly

A beautiful slut showed up on Winter Street Fifteen in City A.

They say he slept his way up through the lower cities, one level at a time. No one knows the details, but it doesn't matter. No one cares anyway.

After all... he's cheap and easy to fool.

All it takes is a copper coin, or a scrap of news about "that person."

You can lie to him because he's a fool and can't tell whether your news is true. You can even refuse to pay him. Whatever you promised him, he'll forget it all once he wakes up the next day.

He stepped over countless corpses of himself before finally reaching the hem of his beloved's clothes.

Warnings up front:

The author let their imagination run wild with this one. Expect a torrent of shocking material and buckets of angst. If it shocks you, please don't yell at the author, mwah, thank you.

In the literal sense, neither the top nor the bottom is chaste. With characters like these, how could they be?

I can't think of any other warnings. Strong top, weak bottom? Very short and kind of nonsensical.

Theme: A mushroom lives too briefly to know the passage of night and dawn; a cicada lives too briefly to know spring and autumn
