After Retirement, I Returned to the Throne with My Rival

Everyone in esports knows Wen Jiu and Qi Xiangfeng don't get along.

They debuted at the same time and were constantly at each other's throats. If one won a championship, the other fought for an MVP. The first kill in every match was always against the other, and whenever they crossed paths, it was kill or be killed.

They even made ferocious faces whenever they took each other down, and bared their teeth during interviews, making sure their fans had no room to imagine them as a couple. It was obvious: no love, just hate.

But the people suffering most weren't the fans trying to read into the two handsome faces. It was their teammates, who got dragged into the rivalry and pushed to the limit.

Until Wen Jiu, three years older than Qi Xiangfeng, retired first.

Breaking news! The Demon King has finally retired!! The dark days are about to end!!! The dawn is just around the corner!!!

That day, the entire esports scene popped champagne and celebrated.

Until the kids on Team Jinbao woke up the next morning.

In the bright evening glow at their base, someone who looked painfully familiar and incredibly irritating seemed to be sitting on the soft couch...

The teammates: We got up too fast. We're seeing Wen Jiu.

The teammates: I don't dare open my eyes. I hope...

It's not an illusion.

"Why didn't you come upstairs to find me?"

"I've been waiting so long for you."

This time, the esports scene really did explode.

[Who else gets it, guys?]

[On the surface, they're sworn rivals. In reality, they're sharing a bed.]

And beneath the jubilant dancing of the shippers came the players' cries of despair, twice as miserable as before.

[Why did they both become coaches after retiring?!]

[Wait, aren't you two supposed to be rivals? How did this happen?!]

[Qi's already terrifying on his own. How did adding Coach Wen make him exponentially more terrifying?!]

[Forget it, let's fight for second place.]

A cunning, unfathomable old fox of a coach, bottom x an outrageously arrogant little menace, top

Reader's guide:

1. The author is terrible at games. The heroes will probably be made up from scratch once I set the rules. You don't need to know the game; there won't be much about it.

2. The top is younger. The couple grew up together and are very close.
