A Martial Arts Master and Disciple

[Strict Master, Defiant Disciple]

The martial world is no longer what it was when I came here, and I am no longer who I was then. Through life and death, teacher and friend, we shared a long dream of spring and autumn.

-

When the disciple was five, turmoil engulfed the martial world and rivers of blood flowed. His master pulled him from a mountain of bones and carried him away.

They met in an age of chaos and knew each other in their earliest years. One tall figure and one small figure crossed the autumn waters beneath the vast sky, walking on until they reached the edge of dusk.

"The martial world is vast. We, master and disciple, will stand as one and... and go down together!"

The world is fickle, yet all things have their destinies. Life has its course, yet remains unpredictable. A careless joke that seemed so ordinary at the time would one day become a prophecy fulfilled.

In this life, one brief encounter, and I repaid your deep kindness with betrayal.

For countless years afterward, we would never meet again, in life or death.

Theme: Better to forget each other in the martial world than to cling together through hardship.
