The Time-Travel Murder Case

Lin Ye's proudest achievement in life was having a perfect husband and a happy family.

Yet on the other side of a rift in time and space stood two versions of herself.

By chance, they exchanged lives.

Lin Ye from timeline C went to pick up the child for her counterpart in timeline A, only to discover that the boy wasn't even her biological son. Lin Ye from timeline A went home for her counterpart in timeline C, only to have that man pin her against the stove with a hand around her throat.

Lin Ye from timeline B had her heart repeatedly tortured by her husband until it went numb.

It turned out that no matter how many timelines they switched between, some men would never let go.

They spread their lives out on a wooden crate in a mine and pieced together the same name: Chen Siyuan.

Murdering a daughter, switching babies, cheating, domestic violence. He owed all three timelines for it all.

Lin Ye tuned the rift's resonance frequency to 4:47 a.m. She said the Earth's magnetic field was most stable then, making it the perfect time for a "cleanup."

The three women stood deep inside the mine, each holding her own "murder weapon."

The moment the rift opened, they stepped through together.

"This time," Lin Ye said, "you're the one who's going to die."
