How to Raise a Beautiful Puppet with Gu

*A deranged, lovesick witch x a pure-hearted, sunny swordsman

People say the witches of the Xuan Clan are skilled at making Gu.

Hua Mu is no different, but besides crafting the most perfect Gu, she also likes collecting pretty dolls.

This time, she’s set her sights on a boy who smiles like the bright morning sun, has sparkling eyes, attracts everyone’s attention, and blushes when he speaks to girls.

Gentle and innocent.

He makes her want to hide him away, turn him into a puppet belonging only to her, and keep him locked by her side.

When she appears beside Yu Junchi, she’s gentle and considerate. She offers him sweets to win him over, bandages his wounds when he’s hurt, and sheds a few fake tears.

Little by little, the boy lets down his guard and tells her he likes her.

Hua Mu thinks, it’s time.

Without him noticing, she plants a Gu inside him.

Looking at his dazed, obedient eyes, she smiles as sweetly as ever. “You’re mine now.”

“You’re not allowed to look at anyone else. I’m the only one you can see.”

From then on, Hua Mu has a puppet swordsman by her side.

Dressed in white with black hair, he’s silent and cold-hearted, a blade in her hand, clearing away every speck of dust in her path.

Yu Junchi has a secret he’s never told anyone: he was once used as a test subject for Gu.

As a result, no Gu can affect him.

He never told Hua Mu that he was standing right behind her when she tried to plant the Gu.
