I Refuse to Act Cute [Interstellar]

[Interstellar Pets / Beloved by Everyone / Sweet Fluff]

The full-dive game My Beast Pets Could Never Be This Cute goes viral overnight. Hundreds of billions of people across the stars log in at once to explore and raise adorable beast pets of their own.

Qiao Nian'an can't afford a gaming helmet, so he has to find another way in: he becomes a proud NPC in the game.

Fluffy and soft, with snow-white fur from head to toe, a big, bushy tail, and one blue eye and one green eye, as clear and brilliant as the finest glass in the world.

He looks every bit like a beautiful but useless little beast.

According to his contract, Qiao Nian'an's job is to be cute.

The more players who give him good reviews and spend money on him, the more commission he earns.

Qiao Nian'an's response: Being cute is out of the question. He'll never be cute in this lifetime!

--But they're paying way too much QAQ!

In the interstellar age, human mental forms awaken a second form.

The fiercer and more imposing the second form, the stronger the person.

Qiao Nian'an, who has never awakened a second form, is universally acknowledged as the school's weakest student.

Until one day, he wakes up to find that he's grown a big tail.

Snow-white, fluffy, and soft, it looks just like the little beast he plays in the game.

Thinking about all the cute things he'd done and the coquettish act he'd put on in the game, Qiao Nian'an goes silent...

In Beast Pets, there's a snow-white little beast named An'an, considered by all players to be the hardest pet to win over.

Cute, beautiful, and fond of acting spoiled, but its affection level is a hell of a grind.

Since the game launched, countless big spenders have thrown money around just to make An'an smile.

Yet no one has managed to win the little beauty over.

Then rumors spread that the adorable beast An'an is played by a real person acting as an NPC.

The people of the whole interstellar civilization go wild, determined to find the little beast An'an hidden among them.

Only Qiao Nian'an clutches his big tail and trembles.

That tail! Must! Be hidden!!!

Later--

Qiao Nian'an: I can't hide it. I really can't.

Waaah!
