The Tentacled One Is Still Disguising Itself as a Human Today

One day after the apocalypse began, Qiao Beibei mutated. He kept his human mind, but grew eight tentacles, each one... truly one of a kind. The first tentacle was a glutton. One moment it was treating a metal box like a snack, and the next it was secretly chewing his teammate's toupee bald. If he took his eyes off it for a second, it might even swallow an entire zombie whole. The second tentacle was a greedy little miser. It loved anything shiny: gold coins, diamonds, crystals... You name it, it wanted it. It even stuck the colorful scales shed by a sea monster to the tip of its tentacle as nail art. The third tentacle was a lecher. It couldn't walk past a pretty woman, wanted to cuddle up to handsome men, and even picked fights with the best-looking monsters. Every day, it drooled pink slime over chiseled abs and a V-line, craving them beyond measure. The fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth tentacles... each had a personality all its own. What could Qiao Beibei do? He'd grown them himself, so all he could do was indulge them. * Desperate not to be branded a freak and dragged off for dissection, Qiao Beibei tried his hardest to hide his tentacles and pass himself off as an ordinary human. Every day, he had to stop the gluttonous tentacle from sneaking snacks: "Eat in secret, and only take one bite! Don't let anyone catch you!" He indulged the miser's collecting habit: "All right, all right, we'll take it all home and stick it all on your tentacles!" He warned the pink-flower-swaying lecher: "Looking is fine, but keep your hands to yourself... and don't touch me either! Don't rub against my abs while I'm fighting, damn it!!!" Qiao Beibei gathered up his loose sleeves, hiding the tentacles writhing beneath his clothes. Then one day, someone knocked at his door. A stranger stood outside. "Excuse me, have you seen my tentacles?" the man asked politely. "I have a hundred and eight in all, but eight of them ran away from home. Have you seen them?"
