A Female Demon Has Arrived at the Court of Judicial Review

A ridiculously powerful demoness x an upright and righteous Assistant Minister of the Court of Judicial Review

Wicked woman x delicate flower

Demons and monsters run rampant in the capital, and the Court of Judicial Review has become a place where the Grim Reaper comes to claim lives. Several officials have died violently on the job.

Wang Fuzhi, a newly appointed Assistant Minister from a humble family, is forced to take on this dangerous mess.

Everyone says he is about to follow in his predecessor's footsteps and die without a body left behind.

No one knows that his loving master made a deal with a demon on his behalf.

The day the seal breaks, a woman in red emerges from Yelan Mountain on a stormy, snowy night.

From then on, an all-capable shadow follows Wang Fuzhi, a man who can't even defend himself.

Mysteries behind the cases unravel because of her, and murderous monsters bow before her.

Amid mountains of corpses and seas of blood, his clothes remain spotless as he says gently, "Don't be afraid. The lady behind me is fairly reasonable."

The ghosts and monsters stare at the woman who crushed a great demon's spirit core with her bare hands, trembling. "...You call that reasonable?!"

At first, Wang Fuzhi thinks she is a demoness who kills without mercy and makes no distinction between good and evil. He feels nothing but wariness toward her and means to use her.

Later, Wang Fuzhi corners her in a space barely big enough for two. Beneath his upright official robes lies an unspeakable desire for her, and his eyes hold long-repressed obsession. "Everyone says that, as Assistant Minister of the Court of Judicial Review, I spend my days consorting with demons and will eventually bring about my own ruin."

She idly toys with his palace sash, looks up, and smiles. "And?"

"And... before I descend into hell," he says, brushing her palm with a tender look, pleading with her, "when will you show me mercy, Ling Niang?"
