Sole Possessor of Youthful Days

The first time he saw her was at his company's annual gala. She stood quietly beside her husband, like a white camellia blooming in silence.

The next time he saw her was at her husband's funeral. He offered his condolences in his capacity as her late husband's superior. Dressed all in white, she stood alone in the wind like a delicate flower awaiting a storm, making her impossible not to pity.

Later, he did come to cherish her, watching her eyes redden and tears spill over for him.

*He can't compete with the dead.

*But he wants you all to himself.
