[Ne Zha] Li Jing's Pagoda Really Was Stolen!

After the Investiture of the Gods, Nezha's merits were complete and he had attained sainthood through his physical body. Temples that his father had once smashed to pieces sprang up all over the land like shoots after rain. Whenever he had some free time, Nezha would visit the temples and listen to the worshippers' prayers. It was what a deity was supposed to do. One day, he heard an interesting prayer. A determined young woman knelt before the Temple of the Third Prince and spoke words that were nothing short of treasonous: “Great God of the Three Altars and Seas, if you can really hear me, I, your humble believer, would like to make a deal with you. “I'll steal the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King Li's pagoda so you can give him a beating, and in return, you can beat up my father.” Nezha raised an eyebrow. Interesting. Some time later, word that the Heavenly King's pagoda had been stolen spread throughout the Three Realms. Nezha observed the stars that night and saw a thread of karma wrapped around him. He remembered the woman who had prayed to him and clenched his fist. Well, first he'd go beat up Li Jing, then he'd have to fulfill his end of the bargain. He wondered what sort of man the woman's father was, and how many punches he could take.
