Dark, scheming CEO x sickly, sweet, honest wife
One true pairing | Size difference | Older man
Wen Yan led a quiet, proper life. He studied diligently, found an honest job to earn a living, and dutifully went on the blind dates his family arranged for him.
He had never once crossed the line, until Shang Tingli barged into his life.
One night, Wen Yan was driving his boyfriend home when he accidentally scraped a Rolls-Royce.
Shang Tingli leaned against the car door, tall and slender, looking at the fragile Wen Yan and his sleeping boyfriend.
Wen Yan wore a white shirt and was painfully thin. At a loss, he apologized to Shang Tingli. “I-I-I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to.”
It was hard to bring himself to make things difficult for someone so frail and pitiful.
Seeing how embarrassed Wen Yan was, Shang Tingli said considerately, “It’s fine. You can pay me back slowly.”
Wen Yan’s eyes sparkled. Mr. Shang really is such a good person!
Watching that timid figure beneath an umbrella in the rainy night, Shang Tingli let his smile fade. He thought of Wen Yan’s pitiful look and his fresh, elegant perfume, and couldn’t help sighing: People really have fallen on hard times. He can’t pay me back, so he’s trying to use underhanded tactics. But his seduction game is so amateurish.
He, Shang Tingli, would never fall for something like that.
But from then on, Wen Yan’s image kept haunting his mind. Shang Tingli even wondered whether Wen Yan had put a spell on him.
But Shang Tingli never denied himself what he wanted. Whenever he wanted to see Wen Yan, he used the debt to make him come over.
“Wen Yan, come keep me company at my place.”
“Wen Yan, my friend just opened a restaurant. Come keep me company and try it out.”
“Yanyan, is your boyfriend home tonight?”
As time went by, Wen Yan’s boyfriend realized something was off and confronted him with their chat history. “Why are you chatting so enthusiastically with someone you owe money to?”
Feeling like he’d been cheated on, his boyfriend flew into a rage, abandoned Wen Yan alone on a mountain, and drove home by himself.
The mountain was cold at night, and all the supplies had been taken away. Wen Yan crouched on the ground, shivering.
Suddenly, a pair of long, straight legs appeared before him. When he looked up, Shang Tingli was standing there.
That night, he really did put a green hat on his boyfriend.
The wind howled outside. Since Wen Yan had been away from home for so long, his boyfriend called to offer him a way to make amends, but every call was rejected.
Shang Tingli held the slender waist of the person in his arms. “Baby, when are you going to dump him? I don’t want to be just your lover.”
As a husband, Shang Tingli granted Wen Yan’s every request without question.
And as a good wife, Wen Yan was just as accommodating, except for one thing.
Blushing, he said in a tiny, soft voice, “Honey, we’re out in public. You’ve been kissing me for ages.”
Shang Tingli glanced up at him. “I was worried about losing face in front of your ex.”
When Wen Yan turned around, he saw his ex glaring darkly at him and his current boyfriend. Startled, he instinctively burrowed into Shang Tingli’s arms.
“Ex-boyfriend, your fiancée is mine now.”
