[Western Crossover] When a Beagle Stumbles Into the Bat-Family's Home

Xiaobi is a beagle, but not like other beagles.

Simply put, it has a System.

How it got the System doesn't matter, and neither do the System's missions. The most important thing is that Xiaobi is a free beagle.

Free Xiaobi came to Gotham.

After three minutes of putting on airs, Xiaobi won over a human during its brief honeymoon period and was taken home by a very dark human.

With its full black eyeliner, Xiaobi took over Wayne Manor and began its home-wrecking spree.

Oh, and one more thing: Xiaobi's human is Batman. Gotham is Batman's territory, so of course Xiaobi's home-wrecking spree covers all of Gotham.

·

Carlos is an evil beagle.

Bruce poured his heart out to Superman, recounting his daily torment at Carlos's paws. He could talk about it for ten whole days.

Especially...

Thinking of last night's dinner, all of Bruce's complaints boiled down to one sentence.

"I used to want to jump off a building with it in my arms too," Bruce said through gritted teeth.

Xiaobi, understanding Bruce's complaints, was very unhappy.

Xiaobi's human was always getting hurt. To help its human live to a hundred, Xiaobi specially exchanged for medicine that could heal the body.

While Alfred wasn't looking, Xiaobi secretly added the medicine to the cream of mushroom soup and made its human a special meal.

To coax its human into taking the medicine, Xiaobi even had it made into its favorite food. But when its human saw it, he kept gagging and refused to eat a single bite. He didn't appreciate Xiaobi's gift at all!

Angry Xiaobi werwered and chewed up its human's cape.

"I used to want to jump off a building with it in my arms too."

A holy light rose behind Bruce, whose cape was in tatters.

"But later, it forgave me." Bruce, his face glowing with holy light, said sweetly, "Carlos is the best dog in the world. He's my favorite Robin."

As the Justice League members watched in horror, the Bat-family, "brainwashed" by the beagle, smiled and applauded.

Carlos puffed out its little chest. "Werwerwer!"

You're the best humans in the world too! Xiaobi likes you too!
