On the Possibility of Wonder Woman and Zhen Huan Getting Together

[Wonder Woman x Zhen Huan, no particular pairing direction, a short story written purely for love]

After losing all hope, Zhen Huan goes to Ganlu Temple to practice Buddhism while keeping her hair. She lives a monotonous life of asceticism, until one day, while chopping wood in the hills behind the temple, she comes across an injured woman.

The woman's name is Diana. She says she is an Amazon warrior from Themyscira. Zhen Huan has never met a woman like her.

All the women Zhen Huan had known before, whether cruel or clever, were just like her before she left the palace: immersed in romantic love. But Diana is different.

Diana is brave and resilient, possessed of incomparable wisdom and great strength. She is a true warrior, and she makes Zhen Huan realize for the first time that a woman's beauty and intelligence are not meant to bring glory to her husband.

It turns out she can live for herself.

She can live freely and happily.

Zhen Huan falls deeply in love with this woman from a foreign land. In Diana, she sees a world she has never known.

Diana takes Zhen Huan's hand and gazes at her with resolute eyes. "I'm going to take you away from here. You shouldn't be trapped in this tiny courtyard."

"On Themyscira, your wisdom will never be buried again."

Zhen Huan has read widely. Everything she knows, and everything she has encountered in the world, tells her that going with Diana would be immoral, scandalous, and a disgrace to her family.

But Zhen Huan still takes Diana's hand.

I love crack ships! I picked the tags at random. I don't even know if Diana going to Empresses in the Palace counts as a transmigration into the Qing dynasty or historical fiction crossover, but I'm writing this for love, so don't ask what I'm writing or how it might turn out. I've already paired Diana and Zhen Huan, so please cut me some slack (
