Fire Spirit Pearl Nezha x Qingqiu Fox Xuanji, CC/HE

The fox spirit Xuanji carried the bloodline of the nine-tailed fox, yet she was the weakest cultivator among all the youngsters in Qingqiu.

Only Grandma would stroke Xuanji's fluffy ears and proudly say, "Our Xuanji eats the most and sleeps the soundest. What a remarkable girl..."

Xuanji was terribly embarrassed.

One day, just as Xuanji had eaten her fill and curled up in her den for a good sleep, Nuwa's Banner for Summoning Demons called her forth and ordered her to seduce King Zhou and throw the court into chaos.

Xuanji pointed to herself uncertainly, looking utterly bewildered. "Throw the court into chaos... me?"

Nuwa hesitated for a second, then gritted her teeth and nodded.

The little fox looked a bit spacey, but she really was beautiful. It should probably... be fine?

But before she even made it to Zhaoge, Xuanji ran into a redhead who was blazing with fire.

At first, it was just an ordinary demon-catching expedition

Nezha: "Little monster, where do you think you're running?"

Xuanji: "You're the monster!"

Later, red silk wrapped around her waist, and the Cosmic Ring shackled her ankle. In a good mood, the man brazenly claimed he was purging evil as he said, "Fine. I'll take the trouble of suppressing you myself."

That was how Xuanji ended up settling down in Chentang Pass, without quite understanding how it had happened.

It was simply Xuanji's fate to bring about the fall of the Shang.

With fate set, she left without even having time to explain herself to Nezha.

In the palace, King Zhou was making love to a pipa spirit who had transformed into Xuanji, while the real Xuanji watched coldly.

Suddenly, the Fire-Tipped Spear pressed against Xuanji's back.

The Red Armillary Sash wrapped around her neck and pulled her toward the chest of the man wreathed in flames.

"My demon ran away," Nezha said, his scorching breath falling against her ear, though his voice was cold.

"...I caught her."

Xuanji's breath caught, and she didn't dare turn around.

Six fiery hands reached toward Xuanji and held her firmly trapped in his embrace.

I've been bewitched by the Great Lotus Root lately, so here comes the food!

The setup was inspired by a quick look at the original story, then I did whatever I wanted. It's not a retelling of the movie, so there's no copyright infringement~
