[Haikyuu!!] What Now, King Oikawa?

Synopsis:

Amamiya Kaoru has always had a strange quirk.

She falls for the second male lead who dies in a soap opera, and feels sorry for the team that loses a volleyball match.

In short, she always empathizes with and roots for the losers, crying even harder than the people actually involved.

She wants to change, but it's so hard.

Amamiya Kaoru attends the middle school volleyball finals as a Shiratorizawa supporter.

And then her quirk strikes again.

Even though her own school's volleyball team wins in the end, even though everyone around her is cheering, Amamiya Kaoru can only look at the Kitagawa Daiichi players who lost the match, so distressed that her stomach is cramping.

Especially the setter named Tōru Oikawa.

In the end, Amamiya Kaoru can't hold back. After the team leaves the court, she goes outside the gym and stops the opposing setter.

But before she can even say a word of comfort, she starts crying herself.

...And he ends up awkwardly comforting her.

After losing the final match of middle school, Tōru Oikawa really is in a terrible mood.

But what's with that girl in a Shiratorizawa supporter's uniform who runs up to him and bursts into tears?

Tōru Oikawa can't believe that this girl, who's crying so hard she can barely breathe, actually came to comfort him.

"You've already, sob... you've already done so well! Waaah... Even if you lost, please... please don't be sad!"

Watching her cry so miserably, Tōru Oikawa suddenly feels like losing the match might not be so bad after all...

In the years that follow, Tōru Oikawa catches Amamiya Kaoru several times sneaking over to cheer for the opposing team when they're behind on the scoreboard.

Every time, Tōru Oikawa lets out a helpless sigh, then begins his performance.

When catching the ball: "Ah, it hit a blood vessel. It hurts so much..."

When running: "I think I twisted my ankle..."

When serving: "I hit it too hard and got a bruise..."

[Once he realized that crying kids get candy, the whole volleyball court was filled with King Oikawa's wailing.]

High school graduation season is confession season!
