[Detective Conan] Tachibana and Kudo

◆ This story breaks up a canon couple. The pairing is with Shinichi Kudo.

Shinichi Kudo, the high school detective hailed by the media as Japan's savior, has a childhood sweetheart he's loved since they were young and excellent grades. A darling of heaven, he has never been short of admirers.

Then, on his eighteenth birthday, his life is turned upside down when someone he'd never noticed before appears in it.

Tsuki Tachibana from the class next door is a girl nobody pays attention to. She has short hair, wears black-rimmed glasses, gets average grades, and is quiet and reserved. Yet she has a crush on the most dazzling person at school.

After an encounter at close range, she no longer wants to settle for an ordinary life. This ordinary girl decides to change herself and bravely pursue the person she likes, but then this dazzling person suddenly disappears.

◆ This story contains a mountain of headcanons. All characters are adults. It's a story about love that doesn't happen at the same time for both people. There are periods when both have one-sided crushes. ShinRan will feature, but the characters won't be bashed. Please take note, and expect a mix of sweetness and angst.

◆ A somewhat cliche unrequited-love story. I'm trying my hand at a healing-style bittersweet romance. The title is inspired by Horimiya, and there will be some cameos.

◆ Tachibana is a heroine who grows over time.

The premise is tentative and may change later.

Theme: Positive love can help us become better people
