After Parting Amicably with Kudo

[An adult version of a Shinichi and Kaito love triangle, with a messy, angsty story of him loving her while she loves him. No logic, apologies for the OOC, a short story focused on pure gratification, around 10,000 words. It will be added to the monthly subscription library after it's finished.]

Uekawa Riko is an ordinary office worker, doing a regular clerical job in Tokyo. One day, her direct supervisor dies in the office, and the entire department becomes a suspect. When the police arrive, she sees the famous detective, still as spirited as ever. After the brilliant detective solves the case with ease, she leaves ahead of the others, only for him to stop her.

Kudo Shinichi is her ex-boyfriend. They parted on amicable terms.

But he doesn't seem to see it that way. He's never moved on. After seeing her again for the first time in four years, all he wants is to get her back, so he keeps making his presence felt around her.

But one day, he sees Kuroba Kaito, the man responsible for their breakup, walk out of Uekawa Riko's home. When he sees Riko again, she bears the traces of an intimate encounter.
