Burning Peacock

[Complete] Now undergoing major revisions

There is one reason I became a police officer after graduating from university:

I wanted to atone for concealing that terrifying truth back then.

Would you believe it? Unrelated by blood, there were two people in the world who looked exactly alike. One was a rich girl, the other the daughter of a cleaner. Then one of them died, and her body lay dormant in a high school for more than ten years. The other achieved her dream of becoming a pianist, only to be accused of being the true culprit behind a series of murders.

And I was a witness to those murders.

So I have no intention of making anything up.

I will tell you, based on my true memories, what kind of hell this tragedy took place in.

Perhaps reality is even more like hell than my memories.
