The Changyi Bridge Paranormal Incident Files

The Missing University Student Case: A Spirit Returns on the Seventh Day, or Revenge by a Wronged Ghost?

Ning Xi, a writer of supernatural fiction, accidentally opens this post while collecting paranormal stories online.

Then she realizes that she was a firsthand witness to the supernatural incident described in it.

In the early hours of the previous night, Ning Xi, who lives by Changyi Bridge, saw someone drown with her own eyes. But when the police retrieved the surveillance footage, they found no evidence that it had happened.

The next morning, a counselor at Hai University reported a missing senior student.

While investigating the student’s whereabouts, the police discovered that his last recorded appearance was on surveillance footage at the head of Changyi Bridge, late at night eight days earlier.

Yet the day after the missing university student case was officially opened, someone impersonating Ning Xi posted the paranormal story online, setting off a sensation across the internet.

Was it the spirit of the dead returning on the seventh day, or was someone deliberately deceiving the public from behind the scenes?

Drawn into the controversy, Ning Xi resolves to uncover the truth.

What lies behind the layers of fog? What is the truth?
