The Little Prince [Western Fantasy]

After King Anderson ascends the throne, he marries off his half-sister, Bessa, to Duke Arberg.

But the princess bride hidden in the carriage is actually Prince Sera.

When they were young, Prince Anderson and his little brother Sera relied on each other to stand against their father, the king, and their stepmother, the queen.

After Anderson became king, however, his brother became a pawn in the nobles' power struggle with the crown.

To secure his throne, King Anderson allied with the Grand Duchy of Arberg, sacrificing Sera to seal the marriage alliance.

Five years later, Duke Arberg dies.

His cousin, the new Duke Arberg, proposes to his newly widowed sister-in-law.

King Anderson also sends people to bring Princess Bessa home.

But Princess Bessa (crossed out), Prince Sera, has already fallen in love with the captain of the guard who has always been by his side, and accepted the captain's invitation to elope.

Bonus scene:

Ron: Sister-in-law, open up. It's your brother-in-law. (comedy)

Anderson: Little sister (crossed out), little brother, I'm here to take you home.

Yvensay: Darling, run away with me.

Reader's guide:

1. An extremely tangled one-on-one relationship. The ex-husband is already dead when the story opens, and the shou cross-dresses as a woman (important).

2. The little prince and his ex-husband have an intimate relationship (highlighted).

3. Nurturing, motherly captain of the guard x frail, cross-dressing little prince.

Theme: Life is precious, love is more precious still. For freedom, both may be cast aside.
