After Being Solo Killed by a Healer the Entire Server Exploded [MMORPG]

◆ A JX3 fortune-telling group story, Lantern X Sheep =3=

Blurb:

Yu Mi is a small-time artist who gets dragged by his roommate into playing a certain 3D martial arts MMORPG.

The newbie bravely charges into a 25-player battleground and gets beaten so badly he can’t find his own head. A healer kindly keeps him alive the whole time, and Yu Mi thanks them over and over: “Thanks, Huahua, for healing me!”

Before the match ends, someone finally speaks up, their voice ice-cold: “Cutie, who are you thanking? It was your divine fortune-telling dad who healed you!”

Yu Mi jumps in fright. “Who? What? Who’s talking??”

Not long after, the other player hunts him down and kills him one-on-one.

Yu Mi is stunned. “Master, a healer just killed me one-on-one! QAQ”

He accidentally sends the private message to the world channel instead, and the whole server goes up in flames. The world channel fills with question marks for ten straight minutes.

Yu Mi posts his illustrated diary of a newbie online and unexpectedly goes viral. The game’s official account personally urges him to update, and countless people clamor for the next installment.

But this is what his everyday life is actually like:

Yu Mi: “Big brother, heal me a little.”

[What do you take me for]: “Cutie, I’m not a healer. Go ask someone else to heal you.”

Yet Yu Mi’s healing received goes through the roof.

Yu Mi: “Bro! Help, help, help!!”

[What do you take me for]: “Can’t save you. Survive on your own.”

Yet a damage-reducing shield appears around Yu Mi.

Yu Mi goes to a comic convention with an upperclassman from his school’s anime club. He gives away freebies made from his own art to fellow fans, and arranges to meet his fortune-telling bro from the game at the convention.

The upperclassman cosplays a handsome adult man with his chest exposed, drawing crowds of admirers who surround him to collect photos.

Yu Mi messages his fortune-telling bro from the sidelines: “I drew you a signed illustration. I’ll give it to you in a bit.”

An upperclassman with very impressive pecs parts the crowd and walks up to Yu Mi, holding out his hand.

“My signed illustration, please.”

Yu Mi stares at him blankly, nearly popping like a piece of popcorn.

Later, the two play games together.

Qi You’an’s voice is gentle. “Come here. Let me heal you a little.”

Yu Mi’s face turns bright red. “N-no… I don’t need it…”

Qi You’an: “How about we become the kind of ‘close friends’ who can kiss?”

Yu Mi: “Sure. Huh? Mmm…!”

*

Qi You’an’s family makes a living reading feng shui. Thanks to the family tradition, he likes to play classes connected to the occult in games, too.

When he was young, a master predicted that the Qi family line would end with his generation, but couldn’t tell why.

His parents feared he might die young, so they urged him to exercise and work out from childhood. By the time he was young, he had developed a six-pack and massive pecs.

Later, Qi You’an takes Yu Mi home to meet his parents.

At last, his parents understand why their family line will end.

They weep with joy. “That’s wonderful, he’s gay! Our son is saved!”

tips:

* One-on-one, happy ending. Sweet romance. Keyboard MMORPG, easy to follow even if you don’t play games.

* The top isn’t a regular healer class. His class has some unusual mechanics, which will be explained in the story.

* Written for fun. Don’t buy the whole thing at once, buy one chapter at a time.

An alternate-dimensional world invades reality, and Xiao Xun, a Yantian player, is forced into a survival game.

Good news: He has [Fortune Telling], which lets him roll for an omen before each dungeon.

Bad news: Every single roll gives him a Water omen. How is he supposed to play like this?! (╯‵□′)╯

*

At the start, he finds a corpse with an incredibly handsome face and turns it into a humanoid servant.

The game world is incredibly dangerous, so he falls back on a fox’s traditional skills and clings to powerful players wherever he can.

He applies [Water Omen] to his first powerful ally.

Xiao Xun: “Big brother, I’m saving my most precious Water omen for you. Your damage reduction is maxed out, so now you can go on the offensive!”

His ally tosses aside a monster’s head. “This omen of yours is amazing. I’ll protect you from now on.”

He reads [Unity of Heaven and Humanity] for his second powerful ally.

Xiao Xun: “Big brother, I’m a damage dealer, you know. You’re the first person I’ve ever switched to healer for. You won’t die! Hang in there!”

Covered in blood, the expert shields him behind his back. “I won’t die… From now on, heal only me, little fox.”

He uses [Primordial Heavenly Prohibition] on his third big shot.

Xiao Xun: “Big brother, nobody can hurt you inside my domain! Once we get out, let’s smash him!”

After tearing a BOSS apart with his bare hands, the big shot turns and pulls him into his arms. “The stars are beautiful. I’ll keep you alive until the very end, and make you the ultimate winner.”

*

Bouncing between a crowd of big shots, Xiao Xun changes his omens every day, in every possible way.

After a while, his points skyrocket and he keeps climbing the game rankings.

He thinks he’ll keep winning without a hitch, but one day, all the big shots he’s flirted with end up in the same dungeon.

Xiao Xun sees black. It’s over. This dungeon is set to hell difficulty!

The big shots all stare at him with suspicious expressions.

No. 1: “You said the Water omen was only for me!”

No. 2: “You said you’d heal only me!”

No. 3: “You said you’d watch the stars with me and no one else!”

Together, they say: “A fox who flirts around gets ravished.”

Then they start walking toward Xiao Xun.

Xiao Xun trembles and backs away step by step.

A humanoid servant flies out of his soul lamp and blocks them with a sword.

“I will cut down anyone who threatens you, Master.”
