Mate-Seeking Syndrome

Also known as: A Defective Alpha Is Forced to Become a Daddy

After the fever, the claiming, and the wild wave of his heat had passed...

Li Huang woke to see a cold silhouette standing by the window. The man was already fully dressed and couldn't even be bothered to look at him.

A check was flung at him. He heard the man's assistant say, "This is your compensation. Please forget what happened."

Compensation? Despite the soreness throughout his body, Li Huang picked up the check and was shocked. He counted the digits one by one with his index finger. "Ten, hundred, thousand, ten thousand, hundred thousand, million..."

He was getting compensation for an accident! His eyes lit up at once. Looking at that silhouette again, he might as well have been looking at a living bodhisattva. Barely able to contain his excitement, he said, "Hey, you had your way with me for three days and three nights. How am I supposed to forget that?"

The man finally turned around.

His only response was a cold stare.

"President Xing, here's the file on that Alpha."

Xing Yan only took the photo tucked inside the file.

His subordinate understood. "Li Huang, 32 years old, C-class Alpha, grew up in an orphanage, unemployed drifter. Simple-minded and childish, with no close family or friends. If he died, probably no one would even claim his body."

This defective Alpha named Li Huang was stupid in the most uncomplicated way, and tough enough to take a beating. He became Xing Yan's best remedy for his heats.

Until one day, Li Huang had had enough. "Let's break up. I have to go back home and get married."

Xing Yan furrowed his brow. Since when had he and this idiot been dating?

"I'm really sorry," Li Huang said, his expression sincere and troubled. "I don't want to leave you, but I have no choice. You're not an Omega..."

Xing Yan: "..." He never imagined that this defective Alpha, whose reproductive tract had long since atrophied, had secretly gotten pregnant with his child.

The irritability before his heat flared up completely. Xing Yan stormed into the slums in the middle of the night and kicked open the shabby door behind which Li Huang was hiding.

"Get rid of the baby."

--- Upcoming: You Asked for This

The real young master is here to steal your man!

Ning Yi had never been anything close to respectable.

He smoked, drank, and lived it up at night. Vulgar, lecherous, and shameless, he had nothing but a gorgeous, seductive face and was a street thug despised by the whole neighborhood.

Then he made a trip back to his hometown, and a bolt of lightning struck from the heavens.

He was a switched-at-birth baby. His real parents were the richest family in Nancheng, and he should have been a rich young master decked out in gold and silver.

With the Lunar New Year approaching, Ning Yi quickly packed his bags and headed south. He had only one thing on his mind: money!

Along the way, he ran into a pale, handsome foreign guy, so delicate he looked like he might melt at a touch, with a cool edge to his features. He was irresistible. What he never expected was that this mixed-race foreigner, Cheng Yuli, was the beloved of the fake young master who had stolen 21 years of his life.

As the old saying goes, one would gladly die beneath the peonies, and even as a ghost one would enjoy their fragrance.

Ning Yi stroked his chin and thought: I've suffered for 21 years. What's wrong with stealing his man? And I've never hooked up with a foreigner before. How thrilling would that be?

He never expected Cheng Yuli to be such a tough nut to crack.

The more resistant Cheng Yuli was, the more Ning Yi wanted him. Before long, Ning Yi ended up falling all the way in, with a little one on the way in his belly...
