The Beautiful Neighbor

[Read it before it's gone~ Add it to your library!]

Shi Luo had been keeping an eye on his new neighbor for a long time.

He was beautiful, alluring, innocent, and cold.

Every day, different people gazed up at his window under the streetlamp, but he never responded.

But Shi Luo was different. They were neighbors, so he had every excuse to enter the new neighbor's home, invite him to breakfast, and watch him look bleary-eyed just after waking up.

He even used rainy days as an excuse to bring in his neighbor's laundry, earning himself a spare key that let him come and go as he pleased.

Then

A heavy downpour happened to hit that day, soaking the new neighbor's shirt until it clung tightly to his body.

He'd gotten wet while coming to pick Shi Luo up with an umbrella, so it was only natural to invite him over to shower and change.

The new neighbor had left his phone on the table without locking the screen.

And so, a selfie posted to his social media feed, visible only to Shi Luo, was laid bare before his eyes.

Oh, so he'd done it on purpose.

That's what Shi Luo thought. So when the new neighbor asked him to fetch some clean clothes, he simply pushed open the bathroom door.

[Warning: a creepy, obsessive top is on the loose!!]

Highlights:

1. A short story of about ten thousand words, with four main chapters and one extra. The steamy scene is in Chapter Three.

2. Written while I was in a low mood, just letting loose. The top is obsessive and creepy, stalks and spies on the bottom, and is hopelessly in love with him, seeing him as a god.

3. I made the cover myself on a whim, so it might be a little abstract. I've added matching character cards. The one for "Xi Yiguang" features both characters.

4. It wasn't easy getting this past review, so I won't make revisions lightly. Please forgive any typos (bows).

5. This novel is available on a monthly subscription. I don't really understand how it works, but perhaps you could save up the stories you want to read and wait until you have VIP access to read them all at once?

6. More to come.

My other short stories, "The Fallen Beauty's Husband Cheated" and "The Sweet, Flirtatious Girl in Disguise Wins Over Her Rival," are complete and ready to read~
