The Ghost of Meropide Fortress

[Reader advisory:

This novel went on hiatus for a long time three times due to personal circumstances. I tried to pick it up again afterward, but found it difficult to recapture how I felt when I was writing it back then, so the ending is rushed. Please read with caution.]

When Meiluo became conscious, she was already in Meropide.

She had no memories of her past. Even the name “Meiluo” was made by taking two characters from what she heard others call this gloomy place.

At first, no one could see her except the adorable Melusines.

Later, another person appeared: Mr. Wriothesley, known as “the Duke.”

The rumor of an “Inazuman vengeful spirit wearing a haori” had yet to die down when a new ghost story began circulating around Meropide…

…

…

After fully recovering her memories, the ghost, wrapped in both blessings and curses, shed a tear.

“What a shame. If only I could witness the end of a ghost with my own eyes.”
