Chi Hechao retired from the Overpowered Hero Department many years ago. One day, the Space-Time Administration rehired him. The director told him the Background Character Department was short-staffed, and all he had to do was go to different worlds and play a background character, just for show. On top of that, the pay was excellent. What was there not to like?
The only problem was that the System assigned to him somehow forgot to send him the scripts for the worlds. Fortunately, he had plenty of experience. Having a script or not made no difference.
But... why wasn't anything going the way he expected?
World One:
The protagonist of a high school romance gets cornered in a bathroom by the villain, who intends to teach him a lesson. Chi Hechao knows this routine well.
Isn't this the scene where the protagonist gets into trouble, a supporting character rushes in to save him, earns his favor, and gets taken on as a sidekick?
Unfortunately, Chi Hechao is a background character. With a sigh, he gets ready to call for help, but before he can leave, he sees the protagonist's pants get flung out of the bathroom.
Chi Hechao: "???" What the heck is going on?!
Seeing things get out of hand, Chi Hechao has no choice but to step in himself. But can someone explain why the villain is looking at him like he's drooling over a meal?
With no other option, Chi Hechao carries the protagonist away. But things only spiral further out of control from there.
Chi Hechao wraps himself tightly in his little blanket, his face numb, and tries to ignore the predatory gazes of the hungry wolves outside.
Wait, what? Are kids these days really this uninhibited?
World Two:
Chi Hechao opens his eyes to find himself sitting on a bus.
In front of him, a man dressed in black and wearing a mask is reaching out to grope the protagonist.
This time, Chi Hechao has learned his lesson and decides not to get involved.
Who knew the man would redirect his wandering hand, grope Chi Hechao instead, and whisper, "Sir, you wouldn't want anyone else to see us like this, would you?"
Chi Hechao: "???"
World Three:
Chi Hechao thinks he's pretty safe in this world, because he's transmigrated into the body of a eunuch. Even if he's a fake eunuch, he still has the title.
But then you tell me the emperor is intersex and even has a heat cycle?
Chi Hechao stares thoughtfully at the young emperor, whose legs are wrapped around his waist.
Wait, you people don't even spare eunuchs? Are you even human?
Fine, you're beasts.
World Four:
Chi Hechao transmigrates into the protagonist's contracted demon beast, a vine demon.
Looking at all his many hands, Chi Hechao doesn't know whether to be happy or upset.
The good news is that he should be able to handle everything this time. The bad news is that he really doesn't want to handle any of it.
Later, the protagonist holds him and says in exasperation, "It's not like I can get pregnant!"
Well...
Chi Hechao isn't convinced. The others said they couldn't get pregnant either, but some of them were only saying that.
World Five:
A disposable underling in a space pirate gang.
World Six:
The background-character eldest disciple in a story about a master and his disciple.
★ Everyone falls for him. One-on-one pairings at different stages.
★ Intersex characters are a special setting in this story, specifically meaning they can carry a child.
Theme: Respecting the old and caring for the young is everyone's responsibility.
