After Becoming the Imperial Physician to an Old-School Beloved Male Lead

Shen Jingze is a prison doctor.

That is, a doctor who treats people in prison, commonly called a prison doctor.

Then Shen Jingze transmigrated and became an imperial physician, a genuine imperial physician. He was also bound to a "Medicine Will Definitely Work" System.

Wait!

Isn't something wrong here?!

Shen Jingze pushed up his glasses and pondered for a moment. "Are you sure that's what you're called?"

The System nodded vigorously. "Yep."

It explained earnestly, "Our mission is to treat the protagonist shou's butt, you get it?"

Shen Jingze rubbed his forehead. "Then you should have bound yourself to a proctologist."

That wasn't his specialty.

The System patted his shoulder, looking rather mischievous. "Don't be modest. I asked around in your prison, and you're the best at it."

Shen Jingze: "..." You sure did your research.

Shen Jingze had thought he would simply be treating an illness, but he never expected to face this sort of thing every day.

"If you can't cure him, I'll have all of you buried with him!"

"You have fifteen minutes to wake him up, or I'll execute your entire clan!"

"Quacks! You're all quacks!"

Shen Jingze expressionlessly revived the protagonist shou, who had been trying to fake his death and escape.

Another fine day to resign from office.

"Why resign, Lord Shen?" someone said, sidling up to him with a foxlike grin. Leaning close, he coaxed, "Why not come to my manor and drink your worries away?"

Shen Jingze: "..." What, do you want me to treat your butt too?
