The Imperial Expedition is a large-scale full-dive game set in a Guide/Sentinel world. Players draw random identities and work to build and expand an empire.
As one of the first beta testers and the first player to unlock the game’s final achievement, [Imperial Glory], Shi Zhou admires his collection of dazzling achievements with satisfaction. He’s barely had a few seconds to celebrate when he’s suddenly transported into the game.
He’s transported into The Imperial Expedition.
And it’s three hundred years after he founded his empire in the game.
All his stats have been reset to zero overnight. Even worse, Shi Zhou has become the descendant of a fallen noble family in the empire. He’s a Guide with only C-rank mental strength.
Shi Zhou: “...Am I crazy, or is this world?”

A new Guide has just arrived at Huajun University. He has delicate features, rounded, translucent emerald-green eyes, and, most striking of all, waist-length golden hair.
It glitters like the sun, dazzling and undying.
The pity is that the Guide’s mental strength is only C-rank. It’s not bad, exactly, but it’s no better than mediocre.
Everyone knows that most Guide-Sentinel bonds are between people of equal rank. With every rank of difference, compatibility drops, and the pain both parties feel grows worse.
But then, a month later, during freshman military training...
The top Sentinel suffers a mental strength flare-up just as contamination creatures attack. His enormous S-rank spirit form goes on a self-destructive rampage, crushing everything in its path. A tragedy that can’t be undone is moments away.
At that moment, a certain Guide bonds with him just in time, soothing the “poor” Sentinel commander.
“How pitiful.” The Guide looks at him curiously, his fair fingers brushing the Sentinel’s flushed, taut jaw.
In a secluded patch of woods, he crouches there, his emerald eyes raised like those of a lively deer. His wavy golden hair spills down, falling against the other person’s neck.
Who knows how long later...
In the last second before he passes out, the Sentinel faintly hears the Guide say,
“All better, good dog. I’m leaving now.”
In the haze between overwhelming pleasure and pain, the Sentinel catches sight of the name tag on the Guide’s chest. Two characters are engraved there:
[Shi Zhou]

The first and only king of the empire was a Guide with SSS-rank mental strength. He was passionate and dazzling, and everyone sang of his achievements and was captivated by his glory.
Alongside the king’s accomplishments, stories of his beauty and his colorful “love life” were passed down through the ages.
They say the empire’s first chief minister, chief financial officer, and marshal were all the king’s lovers. What’s more, legendary Sentinels from distant lands, whose spirit forms were legendary species like “dragons” and “merfolk,” also became his lovers.
Shi Zhou protests vehemently: “It’s definitely a rumor! It slanders the pure feelings between us!”
After all, I’m just an ordinary player who likes fluffy things (and scales). =w=

Top is the main character! A self-indulgent, universally adored top! He’s good at acting innocent and playing dumb, and his scum status is up for debate (not really).
A chaotic mix of all kinds of kinks, so it might not suit fans of pure romance. Anyway, just let loose and have fun.
The setting has plenty of original worldbuilding and isn’t a typical Guide/Sentinel story.
Hope you’ll add it to your collection (starry eyes).
Theme: Strive and work hard.
