After the Puppy Cannon Fodder Breaks Up

What's more, Pei Yihe's nemesis and friends will also take notice of the shou lead, joining the fray and sparking a thrilling, heated battle over the "official pairing." Yan Zhi: "...How exciting." * Pei Yihe's nemesis and friends have all seen him love Yan Zhi with reckless abandon, so obsessively and wildly that it was frightening. They couldn't understand. "It's just for fun. Why take it so seriously?" "You haven't actually fallen for him, have you? Ridiculous." "Nobody wants a lovesick idiot." Until the day they first meet Yan Zhi. He holds a bouquet of flowers, his eyes clear and bright as he looks at them. When he smiles, flowers seem to fall across the mountains and fields. He's a fresh, dazzling force of life, as if he holds all of spring within him. Later, the day they learn Yan Zhi and Pei Yihe have broken up, They think: "This is our chance." * One day, Yan Zhi passes by a battlefield of romantic rivals. His heart is as still as water. He even stops to watch the drama. "Are they fighting over Chi Yu again?" Yan Zhi comments, "Why don't they all get together? They're both talented and handsome. They'd be perfect for each other." The others watching: "?" Wait, weren't they fighting over you? And your ex is right there, beating people up more fiercely than anyone, red-eyed and crying as he breaks down and calls the others homewreckers! * Warnings* The ending is tentatively open-ended, with separate bonus chapters for each CP pairing. Not suitable for readers who only want a devoted one-on-one romance (major warning). Written to my personal tastes, with dramatic, sensational, and melodramatic plotlines, including but not limited to romantic rivals competing for one person, privileged rich heirs scrambling to take someone's place, and the ex-husband having a spectacular meltdown. All the rich heirs are mad dogs, the ex is the maddest, and there will be a groveling arc. A cute puppy-like gong, with a very high puppy factor, adored by everyone (who could resist a puppy!). The major supporting characters are all devoted and emotionally faithful. The ex never fell for anyone else; he loves Yan Zhi desperately, and he had a reason for breaking up. Weak gong, weak gong, weak gong (repeating for emphasis!). There may be a huge free-for-all romantic rivalry later, with all kinds of personal tastes flying everywhere. (starry-eyed) * So the Canary Decided to Leave To be fair, Xue Si'an is a good benefactor. He fulfills all of Wu Zhao's reasonable and unreasonable requests. He can fly back from overseas just because Wu Zhao asks him to, and when their passion runs deep, he can murmur, "You are more brilliant than the universe, more concrete than time." Sometimes, Wu Zhao gets swept up in it too, his love like a green vine trying to climb over a high wall. But Wu Zhao always comes back to his senses. He can see the indifference in Xue Si'an's eyes and feel the cool detachment beneath those honeyed words. So when Wu Zhao learns that Xue Si'an plans to end their unhealthy relationship, he sensibly leaves of his own accord, sending just one text. [Wu Zhao: I'm going home. Goodbye.] Note Main gong!!! A stunningly beautiful, gloomy canary gong x a powerful, wealthy, mixed-race daddy-type shou A twisted, dark, angsty romance with plenty of melodrama. There might be my favorite trope: faking one's death to escape. The gong has feelings for him, but in a very "Oh, I'm kind of into him, but this can't go anywhere, so I might as well give up" sort of way. He's a pretty, gloomy little bird, half-dead inside. The shou is a daddy type with overwhelming possessiveness and is a complete powerhouse. Eight-year age gap. Gong is 20, shou is 28. Written to my personal tastes: a powerful person lowering himself for love. Twisted, dark, and gloomy really is my favorite, sob! I hope you'll add it to your favorites!
