Little Gou, Little Gou

Blurb:

After working late, Song Xiao dragged her exhausted body home.

The old apartment building was dilapidated. She walked through the dim hallway, then stopped and turned her head once more to look at the tall, slender figure on the rooftop.

The moonlight was faint. The boy sat by the low wall, reading with his head bowed and back hunched. His oversized school uniform billowed in the cold wind, revealing a wound on his left arm, ugly and ragged.

He looked as miserable as a stray dog with nowhere to go.

[The story of a stray dog becoming a house pet]

A depressed woman x a stray dog

Reader's Note:

1. Potential warnings: the heroine is depressed early on and there's a lot of negativity / 8-year age gap / imperfect characters / written for my own tastes, with no restraints

2. Older woman-younger man romance / the man has a secret crush / one-on-one / each other's first love / happy ending / age gap / slice of life

3. I'm working hard to improve. Thanks for liking my work -v-

Theme: People should bravely fight for their own future
