Blurb:
From school uniforms to wedding gowns, Su Ying spent her entire youth with her heart set on Wen Size.
He was the pride of the heavens, elegant and noble, with countless admirers.
If not for an accident, their paths would never have crossed.
This relationship had not come easily, so after they married, Su Ying was careful and dutiful in everything she did.
Even when Wen Size coolly walked out on their wedding day, leaving her to become the laughingstock of the entire city, Su Ying still made excuses for him: "He's too busy with work."
That very night, however, she ran into Wen Size at a bar. He had been missing all day.
The man was leaning against the sofa, drinking, looking languid. When he saw Su Ying, he merely raised an eyebrow and acted as if she weren't there.
His friends saw this and started egging him on: "You've only been married a few days and she's already trying to control everything. Wen Size, ever thought about getting a divorce?"
"What's the rush?"
Wen Size drained his glass of red wine and smiled faintly. "I'll think about it after I've had my fill."
At that moment, Su Ying finally came to her senses. She had spent ten years nursing a secret crush, and it had all gone to the dogs.
So three days later, she slapped the divorce papers down in front of Wen Size and walked away.
-
News of their divorce spread like wildfire.
Everyone was convinced Wen Size had finally grown tired of Su Ying.
To celebrate his return to bachelorhood, his friends prepared a special surprise for him.
They went to the Jiang residence, only to find Wen Size pinning Su Ying against a wall, his eyes bloodshot. He was nothing like his usual cool, aloof self.
Su Ying tossed the documents onto the table and said coolly, "Young Master Wen won't sign. Have you still not had enough fun?"
After a long silence, Wen Size slowly fell to his knees in front of her, his voice hoarse as he begged, "Give me one more chance. Please don't divorce me."
The years are like poetry, and I once copied you by hand onto every page of the verses of my youth.
*One-on-one romance, both leads are each other's first. The male lead is a jerk, but he has never been with another woman. Happy ending.
*The female lead grows stronger later on. [Karma, but no cremation]
