[Western Crossover] The Fourth Calamity Descends on Lazarus

"The simulator is starting. Please..."

"Wait!" You stop the program, roll up your sleeves, and beat the blood-soaked person crawling toward you before tossing them into the pool nearby.

The blue-eyed child, covered in wounds, watches you warily. Ignoring the knife in his hand, you flash a sinister grin.

"Good boy. I hate kidnappers more than anything."

Your starting point has been contaminated by the blood-soaked person. After a moment's thought, you decide to move somewhere else with the kid you just picked up.

"Gotham is very peaceful. You'll get a better education there."

Damian: ...

"What's your name? Oh, right. Since I picked you up, you're mine now. I'll call you... Bruce. I don't expect you to be as rich as he is. Just be half as filial."

Damian (drawing his knife): I'll remember to leave half a rose at your grave.

The kid found his biological father. You were sad, but you still packed his things and took him home.

The next night, you sadly crawled out of your grave for a walk and saw the kid parkouring across a rooftop, wearing the cat-ear hood you had given him.

You patted him on the back.

"Bruce."

Batman: ?!

"What did Dad tell you? Your frail family will worry if you go home. No sneaking out at night after using a potion to grow up and play!"

The Dark Knight, AKA Bruce: Something about this doesn't seem right.

Batman slowly looks toward the new Robin on the opposite rooftop and falls silent:

Mentally unstable? Unusual appearance? Died young? Is this why you refused to let us meet your adoptive mother?
