[Cat Yao × Superman] (Taking over next, a short-to-medium-length romance)
In her tenth year in a vegetative state, Chloe discovers that she can suddenly see again, and that she has been reborn as a tiny kitten. Car horns are deafening, trees deliberately keep her from climbing down, and even passing birds can freely peck her on the head.
Perhaps her howling was too pitiful to ignore, because a kind journalist passing by takes her home.
From then on, Chloe has a soft bed and sweet goat's milk. When she gets moody and sulks in the middle of the night, she can even leap onto her handsome human's bedding and shamelessly knead his chest muscles...
Until recently, she notices that the little journalist seems constantly troubled and distracted, and smiles brightly far less often. The clever little cat starts investigating, and unexpectedly finds a bill for a debt with eight digits in his shirt pocket, along with a familiar red cape.
Oh my meow! Her human is going bankrupt!!!
Oh my meow! Could her human be the little thief who stole Superman's cape, as the rumors say?!
# How a cat helps her human pay off a sky-high debt
# If he returns the cape, will her human get a shorter sentence?
# No human, no more pets?
# Don't abandon your cat in broad daylight!!

Clark discovers that the ragdoll cat he's been raising lately seems to be stressed out.
There are three fewer scratches on the sofa than last month, she's eaten one centimeter less cat grass than last week, and she's sneaking sips of milk at night noticeably less often. Most importantly, she no longer likes attacking his bed in the middle of the night and playing the kneading game with him!!
She's started pawing at his phone all the time and likes to steal his keyboard while he's working. When she should be asleep, she paces around the living room, clings to the red cape on his superhero suit, and meows in a soft, heart-wrenching voice.
Clark can't find anything wrong with her.
His little cat doesn't seem sick.
But after discovering that she has lost another 150 grams, Clark can take it no longer and flies off to consult his dark-clad best friend.
"Is she in heat?"
Clark falls silent. Clark flatly denies it.
He's raised his cat since she was little. How could he not know whether she's in heat or not???
Her tugging on his red cape and acting stressed because she doesn't feel safe makes a lot more sense than her being in heat!
Clark refuses to admit it, but after the cat ignores his bed for the third time, he scoops her into his arms, holds both her front paws, and asks in a deliberately calm, serious voice, "Chloe, do you want to play with a boy? If you do, give me a meow."
The cat looks confused. "Meow?"
Chloe, trying for the Nth time to throw the red cape out the window so a certain S-curled alien can come retrieve it and lessen her human's guilt: ?
Has her human finally gone crazy from that astronomical debt? Has some bald, S-shield-obsessed villain driven him out of his mind? She's a kitty! Cats can't squeak like mice!!

"Simulator activated. Please..."
"Wait!" You halt the program, roll up your sleeves, beat the blood-covered man crawling toward you, and toss him into the nearby pool.
The blue-eyed child beside you, covered in wounds, eyes you warily. Ignoring the knife in his hand, you flash him a strange grin.
"Good boy. I hate kidnappers more than anything."
Your starting point has been contaminated by the blood-covered man. After a moment's thought, you decide to move away with the child you just picked up.
"Gotham is peaceful. You'll get a better education here."
Damian: ...
"What's your name? Oh, right, since I found you, you're mine now. Let's call you... Bruce. I don't expect you to be as rich as him, but you should at least be half as filial."
Damian (drawing his blade): I'll remember to leave half a rose on your grave.

The kid finds his biological father. You're very sad, but you still pack his things and take him home.
The next night, you crawl sadly out of your grave for a walk and see the kid parkouring across a rooftop while wearing the cat-ear hood you gave him.
You pat him on the back.
"Bruce."
Batman: ?!
"What did Dad tell you? Your fragile family will worry if you go back to that house. No more using potions to grow up at night and sneak out to play!"
The Dark Knight, AKA Bruce: Something about this seems off.
Batman slowly looks at the new Robin on the rooftop opposite and falls silent:
Mentally unstable? Unusual appearance? Died young? Is this why you absolutely refused to let us meet your adoptive mother?
