Reverse age order: 4, 3, 2, 1. Omegaverse. Assassin Tim (tentative), little Jason, talon-wing (tentative), and a plump, kindly dad-Bat.
As the young father of four children, Bruce is always wondering how things got to this point.
When he got Damian, he was still the embodiment of fear in Gotham. Everyone feared his presence and dreaded his abilities.
When he got Tim, he had already become Gotham's protector, its rightful protector, and the reins holding back the wild pup.
Adopting Jason was an accident. Anyone would feel sorry for a scrawny, pitiful boy they happened upon while the two little tyrants at home were scheming against each other to no end.
And when Jason couldn't stand his two older brothers clinging to each other all day and then shouting at each other all night, it was perfectly reasonable for him to angrily pick up a little owl as a companion.
Bruce sat peacefully with a mug in his hands. In the empty home theater, Zorro played
On his left, two children traded insults and took jabs at each other, but their dad never worried. Damian had become a good big brother who looked after his little brother. He would even lie in the same bed as Tim to take care of him when he was injured.
On his right, two children whispered together, sharing stories about their patrols, school, and work. Apart from Dick occasionally spinning his head a full 360 degrees, the two fluffy little birds were especially heartwarming.
Bruce took a sip of coffee and said calmly, "Quiet, kids. The movie's starting."
The chatter paused for a second, then erupted into noise again. Jason's laughter was especially loud. Nobody paid any attention.
Nobody paid any attention.
Bruce didn't mind, either.
He took another sip of coffee and sighed peacefully. What a peaceful day.
Reading Guide:
Reverse age order: 4, 3, 2, 1. Pairings: 4 and 3, 1 and 2. Everyday life in the Wayne family, where fathers love their sons and brothers care for one another. A fluffy, brainless sweet story. Universe-hopping all over the place, magic used willy-nilly, characters growing big, growing small, and turning into animals.
Extra Scene:
Bruce accidentally discovers that Jason and Dick are unusually close. But one says, looking impatient, "Old man, stay out of it," while the other asks sincerely, "What does 'abnormal' mean?"
The old dad is pushed back at every turn, so he seeks help. He opens the room of his most considerate child. Tim is lying on the bed, rubbing his face and speaking from the depths of his soul, while Damian stands beside him with a cold expression. "Father, what is it?"
"Nothing. Carry on."
Bruce calmly closes the door.
After thinking it over for a long time, he quietly asks someone else for help.
Is it really normal for good buddies to kiss?
Superman: B, that's perfectly normal.
Author's Note:
I'm spreading rumors, here we go!
Some rich guy had better send me fifty million right now, or I'll start typing five million words of smut, telling everyone the truth about how a whole bunch of men and women, young and old, are gathered at Wayne Manor for no reason other than money and fame. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Bats, you don't want that, do you?
