A Little Asteroid's Wanderings

Steadfast and gentle × proud, flirtatious charmer

[Slow burn / A girl's secret feelings / Dark kinks]

On a rainy day, the recess calisthenics were canceled.

“Do you have a crush on anyone?”

The classroom was buzzing when her deskmate suddenly turned to ask Ming Yidie.

The girl was folding a paper airplane.

Her long hair fell over her youthful wrist. Blushing, she shook her head.

“I didn't think you did.”

Her deskmate laughed heartily.

“A good student like you wouldn't have a crush on anyone.”

Ming Yidie lowered her head.

She drew a simple butterfly with her pen, propped her chin on her hand, and casually tossed the paper airplane.

It wobbled through the air, stayed aloft for three seconds, then suddenly fell to the ground.

The front door opened.

Someone picked up the airplane and, passing Ming Yidie's desk, set it on the corner. His voice was cool and indifferent.

“Classmate, you dropped this.”

Ming Yidie looked up and caught sight of the boy's cold, severe profile as he walked away.

Suddenly, she called his name.

Wei Shuqing glanced back, unconcerned.

The room was noisy.

He raised an eyebrow. He hadn't heard a thing. He only saw the girl part her lips.

The paper airplane returned to her burning palm. Ming Yidie summoned every bit of courage she had.

Her heart pounded, heavy and damp with feeling. She couldn't even tell what she had said.

“Thank you.”

Or...

“I like you.”

A girl's secret, fluttering crush will never get an answer.

Classmate W, do you know? Liking you hurts so much.

Wei Shuqing had never imagined he'd meet such a dummy.

At first, his only impression of Ming Yidie was that she was a girl in his class. He hadn't cared enough to remember her name, and just casually called her “classmate.”

Wei Shuqing knew she liked him. But too many people liked him, and he found it a nuisance, so he simply pretended not to notice.

Then, after a minor accident that barely counted as an injury, she quietly slipped some burn ointment into his desk while acting as if nothing had happened.

Wei Shuqing began to watch Ming Yidie, amused by how clumsy her crush was.

Ming, I can see your reddened ears and the words you can't bring yourself to say.

Later, Ming Yidie stopped sneaking glances at him.

How dare she?

Ming Yidie, how could you stop looking at me? Who said you could stop liking me? ^_^
