Global pollution has erupted. Some people have been infected and gone mad, and extremely dangerous contamination zones have appeared around the infected, continuously affecting people's mental stability.

Gu Yi has a sweet, cute face and an outgoing, lively personality. Only his therapist knows that he has countless XPs. He loves all sorts of things, common and unconventional alike. He loves them to madness, loves them as if his life depended on it, and comes up with something new every day.

His therapist says he's starved for love. He blushes and shakes his head, saying he likes lots of people, but would never accept someone who likes him.

When the pollution outbreak hits, Gu Yi remains unharmed thanks to his indestructible XP. Going crazy over his XP is his area of expertise.

The head of the Pollution Prevention and Management Bureau comes to him, hoping Gu Yi will join with a large team and use his XP to smash the rules of every contamination-zone horror story, putting his life on the line for humanity.

Gu Yi: I... I don't really know how to do that.

The director: Don't worry, we've prepared a partner for you.

His prospective partner is 1.9 meters tall, with a scumbag smile when he looks at people. He's five parts refined, three parts domineering CEO, and two parts attentive in a way that keeps you at arm's length.

Gu Yi, whose XP has been hit exactly where it counts, turns bright red: F-for the sake of humanity, I won't hesitate!

Nian Guiyu started following a boy his age when he was thirteen.

The boy was tiny, with youthful, round, catlike eyes. A single casual glance from him was as soft as silk and as bright as a blazing light. From then on, Nian Guiyu's heartstrings stayed taut, and he never knew peace again.

He wanted to hold his hand, kiss him, embrace him, and lie together with him in a pool of blood with no way out.

He molded himself into the kind of person the boy would love most, waiting for his chance.

When the pollution outbreak came, he introduced himself for the first time: Hello, Gu Yi. I'm Nian Guiyu.
