Raising a Shy Little Mushroom into a Wife

After more than twenty years of following every rule, Zhuang Youning finally did something out of character.

This one-way trip might be his only chance, and his last.

Sitting on the cushion beside the cruise ship's porthole, he still felt as if nothing had changed.

Why should it matter where he sits around doing nothing?

"How can you say nothing's changed?" the person beside him complained.

The, uh, friend he'd made on the trip?

Beneath his beautiful sun-kissed skin, He Chenghui's biceps bulged as he scooped Zhuang Youning straight off the cushion and into his arms.

"Come on! Get off the ship and have some fun with me. What's the point of lying in bed doing nothing all day?"

He Chenghui could never stop himself from gazing at Zhuang Youning.

The cruise ship was filled with a carefree, cheerful atmosphere.

Except for Zhuang Youning, a tiny figure curled up in a corner.

Like a little mushroom afraid of the sun.

So gloomy you could wring water from him.

Yet he gave off a lovely scent, as if he were poisonous, drawing people in.

He wanted to see that little mushroom bloom.
