Whose Spirit Beast Can't Be Petted? [Full-Dive]

Leng Fan was an esports prodigy. After winning a world championship, he retired, then led a team to another championship as their coach. Little did he know he would die suddenly on the night of the victory banquet.

When he opened his eyes again, he found himself in another world, turned into a tiny snow-white cat with a halo above its head.

Fluffy-animal lovers rejoice!

He no longer has to worry about a cat getting angry and running away when he wants to pet it. He can just enjoy his own fluff!

He hasn't had long to enjoy the freedom of petting a cat before a System notification tells him he's been bonded to someone as their pet.

His tail points at his nose: Him, Leng Fan, a pet?

Hah.

Pei Junyi is the TOP1 player in the globally popular full-dive game Crystal Realm. He cares about nothing besides gathering resources and increasing his combat power.

By a twist of fate, he bonds with a rare-grade companion spirit beast, the only one on the server.

Strangely, all the goodwill he's earned among fluffy animals has no effect on this spirit beast.

Pet food? Won't eat it.

Fuzzy ball? Won't play with it.

Only later does he realize the little cat isn't rejecting him, it's just being tsundere.

Pei Junyi saves up enough Gilt Stones and successfully evolves the little cat.

He expects to see a bigger cat or a giant tiger spirit beast.

Instead, a boy with white cat ears and a tail pops into view with a poof.

Leng Fan cries out in embarrassed indignation, "Close your eyes!"

"And take your hands away!"
