After Mistaking Izuna for Sasuke

■Coming soon: Raising Naruto in Konoha■

The war was over, and Miss Haruno should have confessed her feelings to her lover. Instead, she was caught in a spiral of hesitation and indecision.

Then, in a daze, she found herself years in the past.

"Sasuke! Wait, I have something to tell you!"

Izuna, whose sleeve had just been grabbed: ?

Looking at that still-familiar, handsome face, Miss Haruno felt that she hadn't changed at all over the years.

She still liked pretty faces.

The Uchiha family's faces were so damn captivating.

Listening to the woman's confession and feeling her blazing emotions, Izuna, who had never experienced anything like this, was at a loss. He started assessing how useful she might be.

"Hey! Did you even hear what I said?"

Seeing that the man in front of her was still distracted, Miss Haruno flew into a rage and swung a punch at him.

???

Looking at the fist coming straight at him, Izuna decided he could at least acknowledge her strength. Someone this capable would be perfect to lure back to the clan.

Holding the man who had fainted, Miss Haruno had a nagging feeling that something was wrong.

When she saw the tall, spiky-haired man hurrying toward them, her eyes widened in shock.

Wait! She'd mistaken him for someone else!

Raising Naruto in Konoha

When disaster struck, the Fourth Hokage resolved to summon the Shinigami and seal the Nine-Tails. But something seemed to go wrong.

"Are you my Master? No, wait! You're the brat summoning the Shinigami!"

The red-haired woman pointed at him, looking ready to settle a score.

But after looking around, the woman who'd been muttering about how dare someone add more work to her already 24/7 schedule suddenly changed her tune.

"Wait, this iconic scene... could it be...?"

Halfway through her exclamation, the red-haired woman scooped up the baby on the ground, almost ready to run off with him.

The Fourth Hokage: Wait!

Yuan Qianxia, a transmigrator.

At first, she thought she was going to play a palace intrigue simulator or something about an empress's harem. Then she died young, but luckily landed a hell of a job and became a glorious civil servant.

She'd thought she'd spend the rest of her life working at her desk until the world ended. But that unexpected summoning let Yuan Qianxia witness the familiar opening scene.

Though she knew which world she'd transmigrated into, a thousand years seemed to have passed in the blink of an eye.

Even so, when Yuan Qianxia saw those familiar characters again, her heart raced uncontrollably.

"Before you die, friend, would you like to hear about a job with five kinds of insurance, a housing fund, and weekends off?"

Minato wondered if there had been something wrong with his jutsu to summon the Shinigami.

Otherwise, how had he summoned this thing?

"And just so you know, you get fifteen days of annual leave to visit your family! A product of Hell, honest and reliable!"

"We'll sign this employment contract! But why do you want to take care of Naruto?"

"Maybe because he's the sun."

The sun belonged high in the sky, enjoying everything it deserved.

She wanted to lift that boy into the heavens, where no clouds would ever obscure him.
