The Radiance Tower collapsed with a deafening crash, and the Alliance's last refuge fell apart.
Jing Fuyi, one of its leaders, was disheartened and exiled himself to the Contaminated Zone to await a peaceful death.
Then a little monster with fish scales at the corners of its eyes picked him up.
The little monster was the dangerous S+ rated mutated creature "Siren," but despite its imposing name, it seemed like an imbecile with the mind of a child.
Siren earnestly told him, "You're human, and I'm human too, so now we're living together! Let's start preventing depression today!"
Jing Fuyi: "?"

The little monster was determined to be human, dragging Jing Fuyi into a series of abstract humanlike activities every day.
"Good morning, human. We should have fried eggs for breakfast."
He set a flat-bodied monster oozing yellow blood in front of Jing Fuyi, and they shared it.
Jing Fuyi: "?"
"Good afternoon, human. We should have a feast for lunch!"
Jing Fuyi looked at the table covered with all sorts of terrifying, dangerous monsters, then silently watched the little monster gobble them down one by one.
"Human, aren't you eating?" The little monster looked pure and innocent, blood smeared at the corner of its mouth.
Jing Fuyi: "...Thanks, but no thanks."
"Good evening, human. We should exercise after dinner!"
Jing Fuyi watched, his eye twitching, as the little monster led a group of mutated monkeys in a bouncing dance.
"Human..."
Jing Fuyi cut him off. "My name isn't Human. I have a name."
The little monster pondered for a moment, then suddenly had a realization. "Oh, right! I need a name too! I'll be called..." It introduced itself seriously and solemnly: "I'm Fishman!"
Jing Fuyi looked at the scales at the corners of its eyes and its gauzy, fin-like ears. "...Fine."

In the end, Jing Fuyi survived. The scary thing was that the abstract behavior had spread from monster to human. He actually started thinking monsters might be edible, and bouncing around really was a good way to relieve stress. Even with the apocalypse looming, life could still go on.
Then the little monster, who had finally learned his name, came running over excitedly. "Jing Fuyi, let's save the world! We'll build a house shaped like a lollipop, then get married!"
Jing Fuyi stood and slowly walked outside. The little monster followed. "Where are you going?"
Jing Fuyi glanced at him. "Didn't you say we should get married? Come on."
The little monster felt that something was off, but after thinking it over, decided it made sense. It happily followed him. "Let's get married!"

Reader's guide:
1. Younger top (?), top-focused, mutual pampering. The top's mind will mature later. A cute, girly top, don't mistake their roles. Still not recommended for readers who are extremely particular about character roles.
2. Post-apocalyptic farming story, with a slow-burn romance.
3. More details when the story starts.
