The Passerby Pursuer Is a Professional Homewrecker

A proper pure-love sweet romance needs more than just protagonists destined to be together. It also needs a few seemingly minor but actually crucial supporting characters, who create coincidences and help the main couple achieve an unwavering love that lasts until death.

The roles played by passersby include, but aren't limited to: an ordinary office drone, a high school boy crossing the street, a doctor the CEO once visited, a cowardly foster father, an innocent young stepmother, and the old Wang next door who's having an affair...

Passersby: ???

What the heck are those last two?

The supporting-character department is usually called the lie-flat department. As soon as the new System takes office, it carefully selects compatible passerby Hosts, explains the plot in a few words, then immediately enters downtime.

And so

Mission: Deliver a pack of condoms to the boss and lock the hotel room door behind you.

Office drone passerby: Got it.

Later, when the plot goes completely off the rails, the System bolts upright on its deathbed. "Who told you to use the condoms yourself?!"

^

Mission: Tell the protagonist shou at the right time that he's pregnant.

Doctor passerby: No problem.

The System shrieks in horror. "...Why is the baby yours?!"

^

Mission: Cross the street in a white T-shirt while eating a lollipop, then give one to the protagonist so he remembers the sweetness of love and returns to his ex-boyfriend's arms.

High school boy passerby: Ready.

The System screams: Who told you to give him the lollipop that was in your mouth?!
