Everyone working under Sky Dome Tower knows that Gu Xiang likes a gorgeous Guide.

The gorgeous Guide has red lips, white teeth, long legs, and skin as white as fine jade. His air is utterly otherworldly, and so is his aloofness. Even his temper is fiercer than most.

You could say he can't be swayed by poverty or bent by force.

So everyone suspects Gu Xiang must have used underhanded methods to marry Guan Jiu Ruo. Isn't that how it always goes in novels? A domineering Sentinel uses his money and power to force a beautiful Guide to submit, then mistreats him once he has him, abusing the delicate beauty and cheating with other beauties.

Gu Xiang was a wild Sentinel found in the woods outside the city a year ago by a team led by Guan Jiu Ruo. He's an S-class alpha, with a giant gray wolf as his spirit animal and incredible stamina. But what people talk about even more is how, out of gratitude for being saved, he relentlessly pursued Guan Jiu Ruo, whom he fell in love with at first sight, for over a year, then finally managed to marry him through sheer strength.

With that kind of setup, how could he not be a scum gong?

Then, when they see all sorts of beauties constantly showing up around Gu Xiang, the employees feel even more certain they're right.

Guan Jiu Ruo's good colleague: Why do you keep bothering him? Can't you tell he doesn't like you?

Gu Xiang, confused: No, Guan Jiu Ruo agreed to marry me awfully fast.

Gu Xiang rubs the back of his neck, mottled with bite marks, and says, "Oh," sounding aggrieved.

What can he do? He doesn't want Guan Jiu Ruo biting him every day, either. Every time Guan Jiu Ruo goes into heat, he nearly kills him. But Guan Jiu Ruo forces him to do it.

He knows Guan Jiu Ruo used plenty of little tricks before, including refusing to turn him down in person and instead hinting to a whole crowd of followers, admirers, and friends to come harass Gu Xiang on his behalf. Gu Xiang, the wild man, has always been straightforward. He really just... can't accept that the Guan Jiu Ruo who clings to him all day after marriage is this sort of person.

And the other's mental landscape is so strange, while his spirit animal is an ugly giant octopus... Every time Guan Jiu Ruo goes into heat, he puts Gu Xiang and his giant gray wolf through hell. So why does Gu Xiang have to be with Guan Jiu Ruo at all?!
