My Sweet Wife Is Surprisingly Strong

Lin Zhao and Mu Kui met again on a bridge in their hometown. At the time, Mu Kui was huddled up like a pile of unwanted trash, with a fortune-telling stall set up in front of him.

Lin Zhao found it intriguing. A ghost telling fortunes for people? Could he even get them right?

Who knew what Mu Kui had been through after his death? The once cruel, vile man had become timid and cowardly. The moment he saw Lin Zhao's sour face, he trembled in fear.

The drive that had led him to go to such lengths to imprison Lin Zhao thirteen years ago was gone, too. Lin Zhao never expected Mu Kui to get his comeuppance so soon.

Lin Zhao: "So what are you planning to do now?"

Mu Kui only knew to approach Lin Zhao in a daze and obediently say, "Stay with you."

And so Lin Zhao began doing as he pleased under the pretense of getting revenge...

Lin Zhao: "I'm hungry." [Lying on the bed, pretending he isn't hinting at anything.]

Mu Kui obediently changed into clothes Lin Zhao liked and nestled close to him, soft and sweet.

Lin Zhao: "I'm hurt." [Holding out his hand to show a tiny cut on his fingertip.]

Mu Kui obediently licked his wound, then flew into a rage and tore apart the monster that had hurt Lin Zhao.

Lin Zhao: "I'm still getting revenge on him, actually. I just have my own pace."

When Lin Zhao's friends and family learned what had happened thirteen years ago, they all said, "We still can't figure out how Lin Zhao takes revenge. It feels like he's gone mad from cultivating."

Mu Kui is genuinely impotent.

When Lin Zhao and Mu Kui met, Mu Kui's personality was already completely different from before. His weakness wasn't caused by the top. The details are in the story, but they're spoilers, so I won't explain them here. They are equals, and they dote on each other. They both have very strong feelings for the other!!

Yu Xingjie: "He's beyond saving. Next."

The System said he needed to redeem the ghosts on a mountain. Yu Xingjie found that the mountain was full of evil spirits with blood on their hands. He raised a hand, and thunder roared all night, wiping them out completely.

The System went berserk. "That's not redemption, that's annihilation!"

Yu Xingjie: "I've restored peace to the world. Amitabha, boundless merit."

The System said he needed to persuade the Child of Fortune, who was about to turn evil, to do good. Yu Xingjie thought the man didn't need to be persuaded. All he needed was a thoughtful husband, like himself. So Zhou Zai Fei got stuck with the shameless, clingy Yu Xingjie.

The System snarled, "It's persuade him to do good, not have sex with him!!!"

Yu Xingjie: "Little System, you're getting chatty."
