On the day the college entrance exams ended, The Gods' Game descended upon Earth.
Players from around the world were randomly selected to enter the game. Players could draw an initial skill and earn points by clearing stages. Points were tallied by nationality, and the total affected the rise and fall of each nation's fortunes. The country with the fewest points would be wiped out.
Wen Chun had barely left the exam hall when he was dragged into the game, burdened with the fate of Huaguo:.
He looked at the results of his random draw:
[Player] Wen Chun
[Skill] liar
[Description] Any lie you tell becomes reality as long as someone believes it.
Friendly reminder: All contestants get one chance to contact the outside world after drawing a skill. You may reach out to exchange information.
Across Huaguo, people watched the giant livestream screen, tensely following the hundred selected players as they drew their skills.
With everyone's eyes on him, the black-haired high school boy lowered his gaze and chuckled before stepping into the game first.
The tactical experts, poised to take his call: ...?
Wait!! There's a kid so nervous he forgot to contact us!!!

With their countries at stake, people spared no effort in sabotaging their opponents, whether to defend their homeland or for some other little motive.
Yet everyone knew that the black-haired, black-eyed Asian boy, so soft and harmless-looking, was the one they absolutely mustn't provoke.
He wasn't a player. He was an evil god who roamed from one scenario to another.
"I don't really care how many people you've killed. You were just trying to survive, after all."
The boy's voice was light. He crouched down, resting his chin on one hand as he smiled at the person sitting on the ground.
The person on the ground hurriedly nodded. "Exactly! I was just trying to clear the stage. I never meant to disturb you. I..."
Bang!
A gunshot rang out, and everything came to an abrupt end.
Wen Chun smiled as he lowered his gun.
"It's a shame, though. You got my beautiful temple dirty."
The Huaguo players huddled to one side, trembling, and the players from other countries he'd casually saved: (eyes shaking)
The evil god descended, and the war came to a halt.
And so, along with the name Black Demon, another title spread.
"The Black-Haired Messiah"
Messiah: a holy savior.

After bluffing and swindling for long enough, sooner or later you'd run into the real thing.
Wen Chun was bandaging himself when he looked up and saw the real evil god descend into the scenario. He smiled innocently. "What? Are you mad that I borrowed your authority to throw my weight around?"
"Moers..." the evil god murmured.
Keeping a polite, restrained distance, he set down the medicine. The tips of his ears turned red.
"My name is Moers. If you ever need me, you can call me that, Messiah."
Wen Chun blinked, finally remembering.
The evil god in front of him did look a little like one of the players he'd saved.
Oh... he'd run into the real evil god, disguised as a player.
And the guy really did think he was the Messiah.
Wen Chun felt a little mischievous.
4.
The experts providing support from outside the game.
Day one: Pretending to be an evil god is way too risky!! This is a global livestream. His cover will be blown tomorrow!!!
Day two: Maybe it could work, actually.
Day three: ...So is Wen Chun really an evil god or not?
Day ten: Hi, everyone. I'm here again to watch the Messiah send evil-doers to the afterlife.
#Why does your Messiah carry a gun?
#Oh, that's a ritual implement for sending people to the afterlife.
#Gun-toting angel, physical salvation
.
Fake angel x real evil god
Ruthless, scheming liar gong x pure-hearted puppy shou (possibly a big dog)
* Half national-fortune novel. I mainly want to write about the whole world putting down its weapons and uniting against outside threats.
* Lots of romance, a whole lot. The gong and shou are together from start to finish.
* Dying in the game isn't real death. It just means you're eliminated.
* That said, Huaguo is number one.
2025-01-05: I've had some inspiration lately, so I'm putting this up first.
Theme: Be an honest person.
