[Football] If You Can’t Stand Me, You Can Die Before I Do

Kevin Bates is of mixed Chinese, German, and Italian heritage. He's a contrarian who relies on his good looks, constantly insults people, and gets on everyone's nerves. After throwing a tantrum at the ancestral hall because his mother wasn't allowed to sit at the table, he ran away from home and supports himself by playing soccer. He's fiercely competitive and hates losing. One loss can leave him angry for three days.

He keeps bouncing between playing forward and midfield.

A locker-room legend, and a scheming, ever-improving player.

A gentleman can wait ten years to get revenge. Kevin can't wait until tomorrow.

Famous quotes: "If we're close, I can waste five assists. If we're just acquaintances, three. If we don't get along, I'll get mad after wasting just one. I put our personal grudge aside to pass you the ball, and you still can't score."

"I have nothing against you. I just hate you by association. Can you stop showing your face around me now?"

"You're so pathetic. Every time you're starved for affection, you go around dating people."

P.S. 1. He won't join the Chinese national team, and there will be no scenes involving it. His national team is Germany.

2. He'll win a lot of awards. A grand slam is all but guaranteed. He's a coming-of-age protagonist, starting in youth training, so the pacing won't be too fast.

3. His golden finger is probably his mathematical ability and strong spatial awareness. At first, he'll be a goal-scoring forward. Later, he'll evolve into a midfield maestro, but he'll move up front when needed. He goes wherever he's needed.

4. There will be romance, with Brandt as his CP.

5. He's not a perfect protagonist. He'll make mistakes and get injured. He loves showing off, but can also act like an idiot.
