My Wild Boyfriend

*

Ran Bai travels to a remote frontier to make a documentary and interview a people who live on the sea.

Instead, she unexpectedly runs into poachers.

As she flees in a panic, she tumbles into a cave and is left close to death.

This is when Ran Bai meets Kuang Ye.

The man is extremely tall, standing so squarely in the entrance that he blocks it completely. He is intimidating, dressed in traditional navy-blue clothes, with pigment smeared across his forehead. His features are sharply defined, his eyes dark as night, and when he looks down at her, his gaze is utterly cold. He has a savage air that seems wholly at odds with modern civilization.

Terrified, Ran Bai tries to steady her trembling voice and asks him to help her get out.

But no matter how much she says, the man doesn't react at all.

Ran Bai is a little disappointed, thinking he can't understand Mandarin.

Then the man finally speaks in a low voice, calmly uttering two words.

"Bride."

Only later does she learn that, according to the local customs, having wandered into Kuang Ye's cave means she has to stay and become his bride.

Back in the bustling city, everything that happened in that remote place feels like an absurd dream.

Thanks to the footage she captured, Ran Bai quickly becomes famous, rising to the ranks of top journalists and gaining both wealth and prestige.

The glittering life gradually makes her forget the past.

Until, at a party, she sees a man surrounded by people. He's said to be a model who's recently shot to fame, winning medals in several international competitions.

His familiar face and unmistakable wildness are hard to miss. Dressed in a suit and holding a glass of red wine, the man looks across the crowd straight at Ran Bai.

One glance is enough to make her turn pale with alarm. She understands what Kuang Ye's eyes are saying.

--Can you escape me, my bride?
