Jade Slave

* Yuniang was a former servant of the previous dynasty, assigned as punishment to care for the deposed crown prince in the cold palace. Life in the cold palace was hard. Even a dry, cold steamed bun had to be split in half, and after nightfall, they couldn't bear to light even a candle. The two people who should have died without a sound somehow managed to walk out of the cold palace alive. But on the day the deposed crown prince ascended the throne, Yuniang ran away. - Yuniang had no name. Everyone called her "Yu Nu," a lowly slave. Only the deposed crown prince called her "Little Yu" in a gentle voice. He would use the only medicine they had to treat the chilblains on her hands, and give her the last padded coat on snowy days. He would also whisper promises to her: "Little Yu, I'll take you out of here." Yuniang never expected that such a gentle gentleman, when he caught her, would look like a demon from hell, his eyes bloodshot as he gritted his teeth and bound her to the bed with a golden chain. "If I lock Little Yu up, she won't run away." * Theme: Love life
