A Gentle Blade

*

Chen Chuhe is just an ordinary person.

An average family background, an average education.

She's not particularly beautiful, just fair-skinned with long eyelashes. She looks pretty when she smiles, and she's gentle, always speaking softly.

How did she end up marrying the CEO in a whirlwind wedding?

She must always be fawning over him, right?

What no one else knows is that this dignified, aloof CEO breaks down at night, calling Chen Chuhe over and over, asking her in anguish:

“You went to see him again, didn't you?”

Chen Chuhe's voice is as gentle as ever.

“He was drunk. I couldn't just leave him alone. Don't make a fuss. Nothing happened between us. You know me, don't you?”

That's right. Doesn't he know Chen Chuhe?

"A gentle blade, every cut a fatal one."
