After Accidentally Joining a Survival Show

Wen Yu was still fretting over his plans for summer vacation.

Out of a strange urge to collect experiences, he chose a different profession to try out every holiday. Not for any particular reason, just because he wanted to experience different lives firsthand and broaden his horizons.

At the very least, he'd never had to worry about finding material for his school essays, from childhood to the present.

But after collecting so many experiences, he genuinely couldn't think of what to try next. Like every young person, he couldn't help wanting something new.

This time, he wanted to try a profession unlike any he'd experienced before.

By chance, Wen Yu joined the crew of the show A Promise Among the Stars, then found himself pulled onto the stage of a talent competition.

Wen Yu: Sure, why not?

Here, he glimpsed both the glamour of the industry and the hardships behind it. It might not be perfect, but it was full of dreams.

He also found wonderful teammates and a group of people who would support and love him unconditionally.

Everyone knew Wen Yu was only on the show to complete his summer vacation experience.

On the final night, when the group was to be formed, even the fans didn't know whether the boy they loved would stay.

Standing onstage, Wen Yu looked at the lights shining for him in the darkness and took in the fans' anxiety and well-wishes.

He raised the microphone

"I think this experience can't end here. Will you stay with me and keep going?"
